- More than 240,000 civilians have been displaced from the city of Raqqa, following clashes between the Syrian Democratic Forces SDF militants and ISIS, UN official said.
Also said the dozens of civilians fleeing from Raqqa because of fear of fighting and shelling, after being disconnected from their families, and the deterioration of their living conditions, with the intensive battles aimed to drive ISIS out.
SDF has been able to move forward and tighten its control within the city neighborhoods during the past few days, while ISIS trying to repel the attacks in conjunction with the bombing of coalition in the city, resulting in civilian casualties.
