- Five Civilians Killed Hours After the Cease Fire Engaged in Eastern Ghouta


Damascus (IRW) - Five civilians were killed and others were injured this morning when heavy artillery and rocket launchers of the Syrian regime shelled the towns and villages of eastern Ghouta, Damascus.

Two women and a child were killed in the town of Hamouriyah in the countryside of Damascus, a man and a woman killed in Zamalka city, a few hours after the area entered the ceasefire agreement between the Failaq al-Rahman and Russia.

Two elements of the civil defense members were also injured in Al-Marj area, following artillery shelling, as well as the shelling targeted the cities of Saqba, Douma and Kafr-Batna, with no reports for casualties.

It is worth mentioning that the second breach recorded by the Syrian regime forces of the cease-fire agreement, which came into force in the eastern Ghouta at 9:00 pm on Friday, the town of Ein Tirma was bombed at dawn today.
