- #Damascus (IRW) – The Syrian Opposition has been holding tight to the devastated Jobar district of Damascus, under Intensive Strikes and repeated offensives and attacks, including chlorine gas attacks in numerous time.

The Syrian regime forces backed by the 4th division launched this afternoon, an attack on the Syrian opposition stronghold of Jobar district in Damascus, while the area de-facto is included in the de-escalation agreement along with the eastern Ghouta

Clashes broke out between the two sides on the southern axis, which separates the neighborhood from the town of Ein Tarma and the eastern Ghouta, in parallel with the artillery and missile shelling, without making any progress as reported.

The regime forces are seeking to isolate the district of Jobar, the last stronghold of the opposition in the Syrian capital, from the villages and towns of the eastern Ghouta in the countryside, so it clears Damascus from opposition forces, and breaks and defensive lines of the eastern Ghouta
