- ISIS Allegedly Calls to Retreat from Uqayribat pocket in Hama


Hama (IRW) – A tweet was trended on social media by an official of the Syrian regime, Omar Rahmoun, who were previously the representative of the Syrian regime government in the agreement to evacuate the city of Aleppo back in December 2016, revealed the intention of the Islamic state militant located in Uqayribat pocket eastern Hama, to retreat towards the city of Idlib.

Rahmon said that ISIS "is asking to go out to Idlib with its full weapon towards Idlib," adding that the militant present in the region are most commonly known as (Jund al-Aqsa, Lewaa Dauod).

"and insisting on carrying their weapons with them to protect themselves (in Idlib), because of the large number of crimes and genocides they committed in Idlib before they fled to the east."

The regime forces backed by foreign militias, have taken over most of the villages and towns of Uqayribat district with Russian air support in the last few days, while more than 10,000 civilians are still trapped there.
