- Northern Homs De-escalation Agreement Updated with New Protocols with Russian Forces

- Homs (IRW) - The Negotiating Committee of northern Homs along with its military forces, met with the Russian forces yesterday, at the Dar al-Kabira crossing in the northern Homs countryside.

The meeting came to discuss the lines contact between the regime and the Syrian opposition, to demarcate the border between the two parties, and to open a direct hotline with the Russians in case of violations.

This comes after six civilians were killed and others wounded with artillery shelling by the regime forces on the villages and towns of northern Homs in the past few days.

the northern region of Homs countryside entered fully within the de-escalation agreement as third third area, after south-west Syria and the eastern Ghouta in the countryside of Damascus.
