- UN Suspending Aids For #Syrian_Refugees In Lebanon

- Agencies (IRW) - The #UN refugee agency in #Lebanon has announced that it will suspend its program of food aid for Syrian refugees in Lebanon.

According to #UNHCR, the United Nations will end the World Food Program for the Syrians in Lebanon starting in October, without giving reasons.

The United Nations did not issue a formal statement through its spokesmen about its new decision, amid the surprise of the Syrian refugees.

The United Nations announced at the end of 2014 the suspension of the World Food Program for about two million Syrian refugees in Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, Iraq and Egypt due to lack of funding to be re-activated in 2015.
