- Million Children In Syria Are Orphans

Agencies (IRW) - The number of Syrian children who have lost one or both parents reached to one million Syrian children according to the #United_Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).

"This is a disaster in every sense, especially since before the war Syria had a population of about 25 million, a third of them children, which means that about 10 percent of Syrian children are orphans of one or both parents because of the war," UNICEF said.

#Syria is now one of the most dangerous areas in the world for children, according to a special study, noting that thousands of children have lost their lives, brothers, sisters, friends, caregivers, homes and stability by the warplane airstrikes.
