- 32 Cancer Patients Died In Ghouta Due To Siege Imposed By Syrian Regime

- #Damascus (IRW) - The siege of the eastern Ghouta by the Syrian regime has killed 32 people in the past few months, local medical sources said on Thursday.

Medical sources pointed out that the deaths were also due to lack of necessary drugs, noting that there are more than 500 patients with different diseases need to be evacuated immediately to the hospitals outside Ghouta.

The health centers had prepared a list of patients who need to be evacuated, including cancer patients.

The sources noted that most drugs are not available to treat cancer patients, which worsens their health status.
