- Calls To Open Humanitarian Corridors Towards eastern Damascus


The British foreign ministry called the #Assad regime forces to suspend its military operations in Eastern Ghouta and open corridors to deliver humanitarian aid to the area.

According to the British foreign ministry "The siege imposed on Eastern Ghouta and the shelling on the area, in addition to the information received about using Chemical weapon in the area caused the suffer for civilians"

It added "the recent strikes led to fatalities among civilians and the number of injuries exceeded 700 people, and needs to be evacuated"

Separately, The UN envoy to #Syria Staffan de Mistrua considered that Eastern Ghouta could turn to a Second #Aleppo.

He said "The escalating battle for the besieged Syrian enclave of Eastern Ghouta could turn into a repeat of the battle for Aleppo"

He added "This has a risk of becoming a second Aleppo, and we have learned, I hope, lessons from that"

Noteworthy that 110 Civilians trapped in Eastern Ghouta sieged area were killed till Tuesday as a result of launching 137 airstrikes by the #Assad regime and Russian warplanes, in addition to the artillery and missiles shelling on the cities and towns of Ghouta area eastern Damascus.
