- Syrian Civil Society Organizations Launch A Campaign “Together For Ghouta”

- Syrian civil society organizations on Thursday launched an advocacy campaign entitled "Together for Ghouta" during a press conference held in the Turkish city of Gaziantep.

According to the organizations involved in the campaign, the campaign aims to highlight and draw the attention of the world to the suffering of about 400 thousand civilians in the eastern besieged Ghouta.

They added that civilians live in harsh humanitarian conditions and do not get their most basic rights of medicine and food.

Local activists had launched a campaign entitled "#SaveGhouta" to highlight the situation in the cities and towns of eastern Ghouta, besieged by the forces of the Syrian regime and is exposed to heavy bombing killing hundreds of civilians within days.
