In the last two months, #Assad / Russian / Iranian militias started a bloody offensive against the revolutionaries in Damascus Eastern countryside area. They could separate the area into 3 sectors and displacing thousands of civilians into Idleb province in the north of Syria. Duma (the biggest city in the area) remained the revolutiaries stronghold city which refused to displace its people and started negotiations with Russians to start evacuating groups of civilians as well as some fighters with their light weapons, while those who wish to stay and settle their situation can do so.
It is noteworthy that around180,000 civilians remain trapped in Duma city inside shelters and basements.
However, on April 6, #Assad - Iranian alliance forces resumed bombing Duma city after negotiations were obstructed. #Assad / Russian warplanes carried out hundreds of airstrikes over the city within two days and 40 civilians at least - including children and women - reported killed and others wounded due to this barbarian warplanes shelling on the city.
On April 7, 2018, #Assad warplanes fired missiles loaded with chemical gas on Duma city in Eastern Ghouta east of Damascus suburbs. No less than 50 civilians reported killed and hundreds others suffocated. The first attack was at 16:00 in Omar ben Khattab Street that resulted in 15 injuries.
The second attack took place at approximately 19:30 near Shuhada Square and resulted in the killing of no less than 50 civilians while around 800 were injured and suffocated. Photos take from the crime scene show severe symptoms on the injured, as all of the people who were affected suffered from acute dyspnea, while some suffered from conjunctivitis and miosis. These photos show a large similarity to the victims from two earlier chemical attacks in August 2013 and April 2017.
#Insaan_Rights_Watch call the United Nations for an Urgent and Serious action against Criminal #Assad who is plotting with #Russia against his own people.
