- The Fate Of De-Escalation Agreement In Syria

- The areas that were part of the de-escalation zones agreement, signed during Astana conference in Kazakhstan, witnessed large-scale military operations by the #ِAssad regime forces backed up by the Russian and Iranian forces, and resulted in the displacing the residents of most areas included in the agreement, except for the north and south Syrians.

The former member in the High negotiations committee and leader of Syrian opposition's Jayesh Al-Mujahedin faction, Lt. Abu Bakr, said during an interview with Qasioun News Agency that "De-escalation zones areas are for #ِAssad regime forces not revolutionists, Syrian opposition have not benefit behind it as most of the areas included in the agreement fell one-by-one after being targeted heavily by both guarantors Russia and Iran.

The Lieutenant added "the only area remains calm are northern Syria, Idleb and Aleppo countryside, where the Turkish observation posts are deployed, but although these areas are bombarded from time-to-time, reasoning this due to the existence of extremist groups" and considered that it wont stand for a long time in case the southern area met the same fate of Homs and Damascus.

Abu Bakr called the Syrian opposition northern and southern Syria to open the fighting fronts from Hama to Idleb to halt the #ِAssad regime from advancing southern Syria.

Abu Bakr commented on the political solution and role of territorial powers, he said "Decision is not Syrian anymore, the solution results in opening all the fronts to return the decision to us and defend land and dignity till our last child"

The spokesman of Syrian opposition's Jayesh Maghawir Al-Thawra, Lieutenant Moustafa Al-Jarah, said in a similar interview with Qasioun News Agency that Syrian opposition forces were committed to the de-escalation agreement.

He said that the one who began the violations across Syria was the #ِAssad regime forces and their backing up Iranian militias, adding that Syrian opposition had the right to respond for these violations.

Jarah added that the revolutionists in Syria faced pressure by all the countries, which caused a gap in the Syrian revolution body, in addition to the "Entrance of mercenaries by Syrian regime and took the chance of interior conflicts"  

The spokesman said that political process approaching the 8 years, adding that "Most of the Syrian opposition bodies are going to the political table after territorial powers interfered in Syria for the #ِAssad regime benefit and made difference in the Syrian equation, that destroyed Syria completely"
