- Lebanese Army Releasing Three Syrian Refugees After Arresting Them Without Clear Reasons

The Lebanese army announced on Saturday evening the release of three Syrian refugees, arrested earlier on Friday in the town of Arsal on the Syrian-Lebanese border.

According to activists, the Lebanese army put two checkpoints in the area of the way and near the new municipality, and the three refugees were arrested during checking of residence papers and personal cards, without knowing the destination they were taken, to be released after hours.

On July 25, the Lebanese army killed a Syrian refugee and arrested another in al-Sanabel refugee camp in the same town while the Lebanese army justified it on grounds of self-defense."
