- Syrian Regime Detains Females In Daraa


- #Daraa (IRW) – The Syrian regime forces and their backing up militias detained during the past few days 11 civilians, including 9 women while passing through the checkpoints that splits the Syrian regime and Syrian opposition held areas.

Assad forces aims from detaining the women to gain huge amount of money to release them later, says Abu Hussein Sharaf, manager of documentation office in Ahrar Horan gathering.

Abu Hussein indicated that “The Checkpoints that detains women and are moving them to the military and air forces intelligence branches in Daraa province, and later to contact their relatives and ask for ransom to release them later.

Activists launched a campaign last week called “Detainees first” in Daraa, and urged to open the case of detainees during the running negotiations.

Noteworthy that Daraa province is one the areas that was included in the de-escalation zones agreement in Syria and witnessed a partial silence in the military operations recently.
