- Lack Of Milk Leaves Thousands Of Children Suffering Northern Homs


Thousands of children in Rastan city in the northern countryside of Homs are suffering from the cut of Milk, leading the officials responsible of this case to call the international organizations to support and provide them.

The Head of Child and Motherhood Care Office, Maha Ayoub, in Rastan city told Qasioun News Agency that the “City’s population reach 100,000, around 2,500 toddlers in the city suffering the cut of milk since 5 weeks due to the cut of fund and no support coming from outside”

She said “Syrian regime preventing the milk coming from outside, whether through the relief convoys or on the checkpoints in the cities held by its forces, people needs to secure the milk for the children”

She continued “We call all the organizations but no one is hearing our voices” adding that “people nowadays turned to the cows and sheep milk, which could cause disturbances for the children’ stomach”
