A report published recently by Washington Institute For The Middle East Studies cited from statics revealed by the UNHCR that Turkey hosts 63.4% of the Syrian refugees.
Syrian refugees contributed in raising the population of Turkey with 4.2% and approaching the 82 Million.
The UN cleared that 1,926,987 of the Syrian refugees in Turkey are males and 1,627,085 are females, and more than a Million refugees under 10-years-old.
UN pointed out that a vast majority of the Syrian refugees are mixed with the Turkish population, while 212,816 refugees are in camps.
2.8 Million Syrian refugees living in 12 Turkish provinces (Bursa, Gaziantep, Hatay, Istanbul, Izmir, Kahramanmaras, Kilis, Konya, Mardin, Mersin and Sanliurfa) cities.
The statics shows that vast majority of the Syrian refugees in Istanbul city represents 3.6% from the total population of the province in 2017 and represents half a million.
8 Provinces southern Turkey hosts 57% of the Syrian refugees, Syrian refugees in Sanliurfa city represents 19.3% of the Total population, Hatay 21.2%, Gaziantep 16.1%, Mersin 10.4%, Kilis 49%.
