The trucks arrived at Ghouta from the camp of Al-wafideen near Duma and contain food and medical supplies. Additional convoys are expected to enter in the coming hours, according to pro-Syrian regime media.
The Russian Center for Reconciliation in Syria announced on Monday that the first convoy of humanitarian aid will go to the area of de-escalation in the eastern Ghouta near Damascus.
It is noteworthy that the de-escalation agreement in the eastern Ghouta was done between the regime and the opposition factions sponsored by Russia and mediated by Egypt.
