- #Damascus (IRW) - A car bomb exploded in the vicinity of Tahrir square on Baghdad Street in the Syrian capital of Damascus, and media sources said that a number of civilians were killed and wounded.
The regime sources confirmed that the authorities were able to detonate two car bombs at the entrance to Damascus at the airport complex, and besieged the third in Tahrir Square, pushing the terrorist to blow himself up in the square in central Damascus.
Damascus witnessed security measures and some roads were diverted while the road leading to Bab al-Musalla was closed and was diverted to the industrial zone and the garage. Many other roads were closed such as Shaghour, Ameen and schools streets.
