According to the newspaper, the Ministry of Justice issued to the Directorate of Funds confiscated and seized properties in the Ministry of Finance, a decree for the confiscation of movable and immovable property to a group of poeople, on charges of proving the involvement of those sentenced to the terrorist acts against Syria as described.
It adds: "The decree, which is implemented through the Minister of Justice in the regime, came to complete what was began by Bashar al-Assad, years before the dumping of thousands of decrees on properties of who accused them of involvement in ‘terrorist acts’ against the Syria, but this time is on behalf of the Syrian Arab Republic instead of the names of some officials of the regime and close to the regime , To gain the decision a legal footprint, with a view to legitimizing the seizure of funds and real estate and properties.
The Ministry of Finance in the government of the regime previously announced a decree to reserve the funds and properties of most of the political leaders of the opposition, the National coalition and council, it also affected the former coalition leader Ahmed Moaz al-Khatib, George Sabra, Riad Saif, Suheir Atassi, And others.
