- More Than 600,000 Displaced People Went Back Home in 2017


Agencies (IRW) - More than 600,000 IDPs from #Syria have returned to their homes in the first seven months of this year, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) said on Saturday.

According to the organization, 67% of the returns this year, were to the province of Aleppo, noting that most Syrians who returned to their homes between January and July, estimated at 602,759.

The number is close to the number of people who returned to their homes over the year 2016, which is 685.662, in the opposite side, noted that about 808.661 have ben displaced this year.

The latest statistics of the IOM, estimated the number of displaced Syrians inside Syria by about 6 million people.
