- Very Limited Available Resources Blocking the Hospitals in Syria from Treating Children

- #Idleb (IRW) – The opposition-held areas in the north of Syria are witnessing a significant shortage of medical supplies and field hospitals, especially in the women’s and children’s section.

Hand-in-Hand Hospital in the town of Atimah in the far north of #Idleb, provides services to thousands of Syrians, especially after forced displacement from various Syrian cities to the city of Idlib.

The hospital has about 100 employees, including 15 doctors, 10 of them specialists, and counting on its success in providing medical services to the people, and to attract new doctors to develop the staff, but is unable to handle difficult and complex medical cases.

"The hospital serves simple or medium medical cases and could not provide services to my baby. I tried to convince the doctor that he should be sent to the Turkish territory, but he refused, but after his condition got worse, I was able to bring him to the Turkish hospitals, and he died with me there. " Mohammed, the father of the diseased baby.

The international organizations reported about intentional destruction of the hospitals by the #Assad regime and its allies in #Syria, and many hot spots in Syria became without even small or portable medical points.
