- Damascus : A number of buses and ambulances headed on Friday to the western Ghouta areas of the Damascus countryside to begin an agreement between the regime and the opposition factions, according to which the latter and their families would leave the region to the governorates of Idlib and Daraa.
Local sources pointed out that the buses passed from the farms of Bashir al-Najjar to Beit Tima and then to Beit Saber and Fafr Hour and from there to Beit Jann under the supervision of the Syrian Red Crescent.
The agreement came after a violent military campaign that lasted for nearly 115 days, in which the regime used all types of weapons, in addition to a suffocating siege by the regime forces and foreign militias.
