The #Lebanese_army detained 20 #Syrian_refugees on Tuesday in the bordering area of #Arsal eastern #Lebanon, accusing them for contacting terror groups.
The army said in a statement “A group of the army raided the #Syrian_refugees’ camps that consists of 700 tents and arrested 20 people in Babin area in the bordering town of Arsal”
The statement indicated that they are facing accusations for “Contacting several terror groups previously, and carrying out logistic coordination for the sake of these groups, in addition to trading military weapons”
Noteworthy that Lebanese army, on July, raided the Syrian refugees’ camps in Arsal, claiming that forces are chasing terrorists, and killed 20 people of the camp’s residents and detained hundreds others. Footages went viral for several detainees while being tortured and insulted by Lebanese army.
