- #Damascus : The #Assad regime forces and their backing up militias continues to siege and impose economic sanctions over Babila town southern Damascus for the 7th day continuously.
The Syrian regime shut down the only crossing in the area in front of the food stuff and civil movement between the town and outside, which led to raise the prices of the food stuff and lack in the main stuff in the markets.
Syrian regime authorities cut off the electricity from the area totally, after it was supplying the villages and towns southern Damascus for 2 hours daily, local sources suggest that there will be an escalation.
All of these came following several problems witnessed in the area last week between Sheikh Anas Al-Taweel and the Syrian opposition factions southern Damascus, as he did not commit to the resolutions of the political committee in the area, although he is a member of the committee, but the matter escalated later and led to kill one fighter from Jayesh Al-Ababeel.
